Cure for Eye Floaters

Is there a cure for eye floaters?

So, I've been searching the internet for years for a cure for eye floaters.  Well, guess what, there isn't one.  It's all about people trying to make some extra money of off our unfortunate style of eyes.

Let's review some of the items that people have said that work, that I've tried personally, and can tell you they don't.  The first being eye drops.  Eye floaters are tiny particles floating around in your eye that don't go away.  How would an eye drop get rid of particles in your vitreous fluid?  There would have to be some type of acid in those drops and they would have to get back to the floaters before they hit any other part of your eye.  Yes, eye drops are good for your eyes if you buy the right kind but in no way, shape, or form do they get rid of floaters.  If you are spending money on eye drops just for the cure of eye floaters, save yourself some money and buy something else, like sunglasses!

The next common cure I see a lot of people talking about is magnesium pills.  Once again, eye drops are particles in your eye.  Inreasing your levels of magnesium is not going to remove these particles.  What magnesium does do is give you healthier, stronger eyes.  I'm not against taking a magnesium supplement but I am against people spending hard earned money looking for a magic fix when there just simply isn't one out there.  If you are going to take magnesium pills, take a multi-vitamin that has everything in it you need, not just one medical compound.

Here is probably my favorite one that I have seen a lot online.  Stare at the moon.  Are you kidding me.  I can just imagine thousands of people at night in this world going outside and staring at the moon for the belief that their eye floaters are going away.  Let's take a look at  this one from a common sense point of view.  How in the world would staring at the moon remove particles in your eye?  The moon is not a magical magician fixing health problems by looking at it!  It would seem a better way to get rid of floaters would be to stare at the sun.  That way you can go blind and they would definitely be gone!

If you truly want to remove your eye floaters, then you need to remove them.  Surgery is your only option.  It truly is a risky option, but in the end it's the only thing that will remove them forever.  Do the surgery and skip all of the other folklore fixes.
